Poni adheres to a strict enforcement of sending limits. A sender may send up to $3,000 pesos per day and
USD $1,500 per month. These limitations are imposed through a sophisticated system of proprietary
heuristics, which both discourages and prevents violations.
Poni® is able to gather very rich, detailed data related to each and every transaction in real time. This
dataset informs the heuristics system which is capable of acting, real time, prior to each activation or
withdraw authorization. We are required and we will report all potentially violating transactions to
appropriate governmental authorities.
The compliance system detects and prevents transfers which exceed these limits and will cause the
offending transfers to be frozen. In these cases, the sender must call customer service for advice on
releasing his/her funds. Poni was designed for typical, familial remittance and does not support large
transaction sending amounts.
Poni Cash Cards are not bank or credit cards, and they serve only to retrieve remittances of Poni in
Mexico.
